Steve ‘n’ Seagulls to Perform Saturday Night at Solar Strings Festival in French Village

(French Village) A non-traditional bluegrass band will play the Solar Strings Festival Saturday night at Astral Valley Art Park in French Village.

Steve ‘N’ Seagulls is just one of close to 30 acts set to perform during this total solar eclipse weekend.

Steve ‘N’ Seagulls hails from Finland.

All members play bluegrass instruments but they are known for taking rock songs and twisting them into a fun bluegrassy version of that rock hit.

Regional Radio spoke to Irwin Remmel.

He’s the lead singer, guitarist and anvil player for the band.

He tells how they came up with their name, Steve ‘N’ Seagulls.

Remmel says Steve ‘N’ Seagulls prides themselves on their live shows, so attendees should be in for a real treat Saturday night.

Steve ‘N’ Seagulls are scheduled to start their show Saturday night at 10:45 on the main stage.

Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder will play Sunday evening at 6 at the Solar Strings Festival in French Village.
