(HILLSBORO) Steve Noblitt enters his 2nd stint as head coach of Grandview basketball, returning to coach the girls team after 7 years running the boys program from the late 90s through the early 2000’s. The boys won at least 21 games in each of Noblitt’s last three seasons and captured a Class 3 district championship in 2004. Now, Noblitt follows former Grandview AD and girls basketball coach Rhonda Hubbard who helped the team to a 44-7 record in her two years.

Noblitt will be without Macy Ketcherside and Meghan Faust, two girls that made the biggest impact as seniors last year, but he still returns a smart group of kids.

Noblitt introduces his projected starters and what they bring to the floor.

The Grandview girls basketball team opens the season Monday night against the Central Rebels. Noblitt offers his thoughts on facing the Rebels.

Tip-off between Grandview and Central is set for 5:30. Tune into KJFF Sports Talk Tuesday at 4:15 for the full Steve Noblitt interview.
