Still Time to Set Up a Deer Camp in the Mark Twain National Forest

(Potosi) Deer hunters still have a few days left to hunt in the Show-Me State and camping in the Mark Twain National Forest is something many hunters enjoy doing.

Becky Ewing is a forest ranger with the Potosi/Fredericktown Ranger District.

She says it’s OK to find a secluded camping spot on your own.

Ewing says you can also try one of the National Forest Service’s camping areas that are still open right now.

Firearms deer season in the Show-Me State runs through Tuesday.
