Stolen truck in Barnhart

(Barnhart) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a case of a stolen truck in Barnhart. Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Grant Bissell says the reporting party stated she is the head of a trust for a friend who passed away in March, and she was at the residence to cut the grass on April 22nd and returned the next day and noticed the truck was no longer there.
Bissell says the woman said the 1996 Toyota Tacoma was indeed locked and she still has the keys. The value of the truck is around 3-thousand dollars. Anyone with information is asked to call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau.
