Stop the spread of Covid-19

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Health Department continues to ask for support from the public to do their part to avoid the spread of Covid-19. Health officials continue to stress the importance of wearing masks, washing your hands, practice social distancing, and staying home when feeling sick. The Jefferson County Health Department has been notified of 184 new positive cases for Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) in the county. This brings the total number of positive cases to 9,901 in Jefferson County. Of those 9,901, 3,636 are active, with 6,146 recoveries, and 96 deaths. 834 of those positive cases have been at long term care facilities.
