Stormin’ Norman to be Inducted Next Week to Hall of Famous Missourians
(Jefferson City) Legendary Missouri Tigers basketball coach Norm Stewart will be inducted into the Hall of Famous Missourians next  week.
The Missouri House of Representatives select the recipient or recipients each year and State Representative
Mike Henderson of Desloge hopes the coach can make it to the state capitol on Wednesday the 1st for his induction.

The induction ceremony for coach Stewart is at 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon the first in the House Chamber in Jefferson City.
The ceremony will be followed with a reception in the third floor rotunda.
Samuel Clemens was the first to be inducted into the Hall of Famous Missourians in 1982.
Some others in the Hall are George Washington Carver, Walter Cronkite, Josephine Baker, Jack Buck, Edwin Hubble and over 40 others.
