Summersville Man Injured in Dump Truck Accident in Jefferson County

(St. Louis, Mo.) A man from Summersville was taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis after being involved in a two-vehicle accident Thursday evening in Jefferson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident took place southbound on Highway 141, south of High View Drive, when a Dodge Journey driven by 48-year-old David Baught of Imperial failed to see a Sterling dump truck driven by 28-year-old Michael Weaver of Summersville traveling slowly which caused the front of the dump truck to strike the rear of the Journey.
Weaver sustained moderate injuries in the crash.
