Sunday fatal accident near Hillsboro
(Hillsboro) Four people were injured including one fatality in a two-vehicle accident on Route Y south of Ware Church Road near Hillsboro on Sunday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 27-year old Brian Glenn of Hillsboro was driving a 2013 Ford Fusion, and collided with a 2006 Chevy HHR driven by 32-year old Tiffany Turner of New Haven. The impact caused Glenn’s vehicle to travel off the roadway and strike a tree. Glenn was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with moderate injuries. Turner was airlifted to Mercy St. Louis with serious injuries. Two occupants in Turner’s vehicle, an 8-year old female was taken by ambulance to St. Louis Children’s hospital with serious injuries, while a 12-year old male was pronounced deceased at the scene by Valle Ambulance District personnel. Turner and the two children were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident which took place a little before 11 o’clock Sunday morning.
