Tax Day Pushed Back

(Washington DC) Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin tweeted today  that the deadline for filing taxes has been moved from April 15th to July 15th.

Mnuchin also said “All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties”.

This was expected as the White House said earlier that it would be deferring tax payments.
