Tax Levy is First Bill Heard in Representative McGirl’s House Ways & Means Committee

(Jefferson City) A bill on tax levies and temporary tax levies was the first bill to be discussed this session in the Missouri House Ways and Means Committee.

That committee is headed up by State Representative Mike McGirl.

The lawmaker from Potosi explains who this bill would affect if it becomes law.

McGirl expects this bill to leave his committee by the end of this week.

Representative McGirl also serves on the Financial Institutions Committee and the Special Committee on Government Accountability.
