Tax Revenue Up for St. Francois County

(Farmington) For the second time this year, the monthly sales tax revenue in St. Francois County topped the million dollar mark.

More than 1.2-million dollars was submitted by the Department of Revenue for the month of September which is 93-thousand dollars more than last September.

So far, the county has received 8 and a half million dollars in 2020, representing a 586-thousand dollar increase from the same period last year, marking a 7.4-percent jump compared to 2019.
