(St. Louis, Mo.) A teen from House Springs and two men, one from House Springs and one from Byrnes Mill, were all taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis after being involved in a two-vehicle hit-and-run accident last night in Jefferson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on East Rock Creek Road, at Gary Road, when a white pickup truck struck the left rear of a Mercedes C240 driven by 30-year-old Joshua Laughlin of Byrnes Mill.

The Mercedes then traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree while the white pickup truck fled the scene.

Laughlin sustained moderate injuries while his passengers, 18-year-old Jesse Green of House Springs and 55-year-old John Pfingston of House Springs, both sustained moderate injuries in the crash.
