Teen Injured in Two Vehicle Crash in St. Francois County

(Hurryville) A teenager from Farmington was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two vehicle accident in St. Francois County.

The Highway Patrol says the crash happened at Hillsboro Road and Farmer Road when 18-year-old Bryce Buchanan attempted to make a left turn with his Chevy Impala onto Farmer Road but failed to yield to a Chevy 2500 pickup truck driven by 67-year-old John Crites of Bonne Terre.

The front of the truck struck the right side of the Impala.

Both vehicles spun around and then ran off the road.

Crites was not injured but Buchanan received moderate injuries.

He had to be taken to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.
