Teenager from Silva Injured in Wayne County Crash

(Silva) A teenager from Silva was injured Wednesday night in a pickup truck accident in Wayne County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 34, about 7 miles east of Silva when a Ford Ranger driven by 18-year-old Lonnie Kelley ran off the road, struck a sign, then struck a concrete wall and came to rest in a creek.

Kelley was moderately injured and was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
