Teenager Injured in Iron County Crash

(Annapolis) A teenager from Annapolis was injured after a pickup truck accident Saturday night in Iron County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 49, about 4 miles north of Annapolis when a 17-year-old juvenile failed to make a left hand turn onto County Road 118 in his Nissan pickup.

The truck then ran off the road, struck a ditch and a fence.

The teen received moderate injuries and was flown to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.
