(HILLSBORO, Mo.) The start of basketball season means the return of star guard Koby Klaus for the Grandview Eagles as their boy’s team looks for a bounce back year.

Klaus missed all of last season with a torn ACL injury after being named the conference player of the year as a sophomore when he averaged 22.7 points per game. Klaus will look to help turnaround a Grandview team that won just three games last year going 3-21.+++

Despite the tough record, the Eagles had the opportunity to play some younger players who now have some experience at the varsity level. Among the returners includes senior guard Anthony Dolde, and Dru Stanz, with junior Colten McAnally also returning.+++

Klaus will have an opportunity to play off the ball a little more this year with Dolde set to help out at the point guard position. Head coach Chris Miller said it will still be a process to figure out how to incorporate Klaus back into the lineup…
