The Space Museum in Bonne Terre is Out of This World

(Bonne Terre) If you or your child are fascinated by space exploration, there is a place right here in the listening area that will teach you something you may not know while entertaining you at the same time.

In 2006, Earl Mullins, opened The Space Museum in Bonne Terre.

He tells us about this amazing museum which houses all kinds of artifacts related to space travel.

And you should not have preconceived notions that this place holds just two or three artifacts.

Mullins says The Space Museum has a collection that will rival other places that the public can go to, to learn more about space exploration.

The Space Museum in Bonne Terre is located on East School Street.

They are open Fridays and Saturdays from 9 until 5 and Sunday afternoons from 1 until 5.

You can also call 573-358-1200 or visit them at space-mo.org to schedule a private tour.

There are also special events scheduled from time to time.

In the past, special event visitors have included several former NASA members, including former astronauts.
