Things running smoothly to start the school year at St. Pius X

(Festus/Crystal City) Academically things have went off without a hitch for the start of the school year at St. Pius X High School.

Principal Karen DeCosty says the first month of school is already in the books and everything is moving along just fine.

We asked Decosty about COVID cases at the high school.

Face masks are optional at St. Pius X High School. However, DeCosty says administrators continue to monitor trends not only in the school but across the county in the event a change is needed to be made.
