This Weekend is Old Miners Days Weekend in Viburnum

This weekend is Old Miners Days weekend in Viburnum. The festival will take place Friday evening and all day Saturday. Organizer Marty Maize says you will want to come to the celebration hungry because they will have a nice selection of good food and drink.

And Maize describes the final two Old Miners Days events. He says you will want to be at the Elmer P. Beard Gymnasium by 6 o’clock Saturday evening.

Old Miners Days in Viburnum will kick off Friday evening at 6 at the gymnasium with the Tiny Tot Contest, Little Miss Viburnum Contest, Junior Miss Viburnum Competition and the Miss Viburnum Competition. The festival will open back up at 9 Saturday morning with most events happening in the Viburnum shopping center parking lot.
