Three From Steelville Arrested on Drug Charges in Crawford County

(Steelville) Three people were arrested in Crawford County last week on drug charges.
A news release from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department says last Wednesday, deputies and members of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group conducted a search warrant at a residence on Sanke Road near Steelville.
During the search, law enforcement seized an eighth of an ounce of suspected methamphetamine, 250 capsules of suspected fentanyl and a gram of suspected raw fentanyl, along with several drug paraphernalia items.
As a result, three people were arrested and are being held in the Crawford County jail.
28-year-old Brendan Snodgrass of Steelville faces two felony counts of of possession of a controlled substance.
30-year-old Brent Sands of Steelville faces the felony of delivery of a controlled substance and 30-year-old Mercedes Weiler of Steelville faces two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Next Thursday, the three will have their counsel status hearings.
