Three Injured in Two-Car Crash

(Ste. Genevieve) Three Missouri residents were involved in a two-car crash this morning in Ste. Genevieve County. 37-year-old Ste. Genevieve resident Jeffery Dorenkamp and 65-year-old Ronald Brule suffered moderate injuries while 54-year-old Carl Lewis suffered minor injuries. The Highway Patrol says the accident occurred Westbound on Highway “Y”, West of Dietzfelbinger Drive. Brule was traveling Eastbound with Lewis and slid into the path of Dorenkamp, which caused a head-on collision. Brule and Lewis were riding without seatbelts and didn’t have car insurance. All three men were transported to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis by Ste. Genevieve Ambulance District.
