Three Juveniles Injured in Crawford County Car Accident

Three unnamed juveniles were injured in a single vehicle accident on Thursday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 7:30 AM on Old Springfield Road in Bourbon, when the driver of a Chevrolet Aveo, a 17 year old female, traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and traveled off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle then struck a tree, and caught on fire. The driver suffered serious injuries, as did the two passengers, an eight year old female, and a thirteen year old male. The two occupants were taken to Mercy Children’s Hospital in St. Louis via air evac and the driver was taken to Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan via Ambulance.
