Three Local Teams Compete in Charleston Round Robin

(Charleston) Three summer district baseball teams played in the Charleston Round Robin this weekend. Ste. Genevieve, Festus, and Mineral Area participated in the tournament. The weekend did not go as planned for the Mineral Area Orioles. They finished the round-robin with an 0 and 4 record. Coach Todd McKinney says the offense just could not get going.

Ste. Gen finished the weekend with a 3-1 record. Coach Junie Basler says his team was playing well.

Festus also competed in the Round Robin. Coach Zac Bone was not available for comment, they finished with a record of 2-2.
