Three people injured in accident on I-270 south of Tesson Ferry

Three people were injured after a three-vehicle accident on northbound I-270 south of Tesson Ferry Road on Tuesday evening. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Tyler Paul of St. Peter’s was driving a Nissan Xterra and rear-ended a Chevy Equinox driven by 39-year-old Kimberly Delf of Arnold. Delf’s vehicle then struck the rear of a Ford F150 pick-up driven by 34-year-old Clinton Wall of St. Charles. Delf’s vehicle continued across all lanes of traffic and struck the median. Both Delf and a passenger in her vehicle, 52-year-old Tina Nugent of Festus were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries. Wall suffered minor injuries in the accident and was treated at the scene. The accident took place around 6:45 Tuesday night.
