(STE. GENEVIEVE) Three Ste. Genevieve Dragons have recently signed letters of intent to continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level. Derek Morganthaler and Brady Boyer have signed with St. Charles Community College and Chad Donze had previously signed with Three Rivers.

Morganthaler, a two time dream teamer for the Dragons, will play some outfield and be a pitcher for St. Charles and says he’ll have a chance to get some quality innings.

Boyer will be an outfielder too and is excited about the potential of the new coaching staff and the rest of the incoming freshman class.

Chad Donze isn’t the only local player to sign with the Three Rivers Raiders, as North County Raider Kolten Poorman has also signed with Three Rivers. Donze says that the facilities and the fall on campus is what drew him to Three Rivers.

Morganthaler and Boyer both plan to major somewhere in the technology field while Donze plans to major in pre sports medicine.
