Three Teenagers Injured In Car Accident In Jefferson County

(Jefferson County) Three teenagers were taken to the hospital following a car accident in Jefferson County Tuesday morning. 18-year-old Justin Craft of DeSoto was northbound on Highway ‘Y’ in a 2004 Ford Ranger when he attempted to avoid a deer and traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle overturned and struck a mailbox. Craft and a 17-year-old male from Rolla were taken to Mercy Hospital South with moderate injuries. Another 17-year-old occupant from Rolla suffered moderate injuries and was taken to S-S-M Health St. Claire. The accident occurred around 3:40 a.m. Tuesday morning.
