Three Youngsters Injured in School Bus Crash in Dent County

(Salem) Three young students from Salem, who attend the Salem School District, were injured Friday morning in a school bus accident in Dent County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Dent County Road 6380 at County Road 6370, about five miles south of Salem when a Ford F-150 driven by 24-year-old Eva Wilson of Salem failed to yield to the school bus driven by 48-year-old Tricia Manson of Salem.

The truck struck the side of the bus and both vehicles came to rest in the roadway.

Three 5-year-old girls received minor injuries and they were taken to the hospital in Salem for treatment.
