(Pucky Huddle) Time is running out if you plan on camping or checking out the newly renovated Red Bluff Recreation Area in Pucky Huddle this year.
Mark Twain National Forest Ranger Becky Ewing says vegetation and trees will grow quickly around the newly constructed campgrounds with the hope they will be used for many, many years into the future.
And by the way, Ewing says this was just the first phase of work.
They actually have more improvements coming to Red Bluff Campground.
And group camping at Red Bluff will debut for the first time to the public next camping season.
Red Bluff Recreation Area in southern Crawford County will close down for the fall camping season on November 1st.
To reserve a campsite, go to recreation.gov.
Ewing says Phase 2 work at Red Bluff isn’t expected to begin until the new year begins.
