Todd Mahn running for DeSoto City Council

(DeSoto) There are five individuals running for two spots on the DeSoto City Council on the Tuesday election ballot. One of those running is lifelong DeSoto resident and owner of Mahn Funeral Homes, Todd Mahn. He says there some positive things happening in the city and he would to be a part of that.

Mahn says there some other great projects in the works and coming in the future.

The other four individuals running for DeSoto City council includes current Mayor Kathy Smith, along with Dirk Helms, Shaun Brooks, and Marvin Campbell. DeSoto operates under the City Manager government which does not include wards, and the council votes and decides who becomes mayor.
