Traditional Music Festival in Festus now canceled

Another large outdoor event in Festus has been canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Traditional Music Festival scheduled for later this month at Crites Memorial Park (formerly West City Park) has been postponed for 2020. Organizer George Portz says they had safety guidelines in place, but several performers have contracted Covid-19.
This would have been the 31st annual Traditional Music Festival, and the 8th time it’s been held in Festus. They are certainly planning to hold it again in 2021.
