Trail of Tears Bike Ride Stopping in Farmington on Wednesday

(Farmington) A group of bicyclists left Georgia last week on the The Trail of Tears, retracing the path of Native Americans who were removed from their homeland.
Troy Wayne Poteete says they will be welcomed in Farmington Wednesday afternoon around 4 o’clock with music and more.
The bike ride is to promote awareness for the legacy of The Trail of Tears.
Long Park is located on Ste. Genevieve Avenue next to the Farmington Police Department.
