(Ironton) A Crawford County man, who was arrested in 2017 for allegedly killing one of his twin infant daughters and leaving the other with serious injuries, had his October trial cancelled.

A new jury trial date will be set in Iron County on a change of venue from Crawford County on October 28th.

28-year-old Erick Ford of Cuba was charged in Crawford County with two 1st degree domestic assault charges and 1st degree endangering the welfare of a child resulting in death.

Ford allegedly shook the two infants as he tried to get them to go to sleep on September 13th, 2017 at his home in Cuba.

The other girl received treatment for a skull fracture and bleeding of the brain.

Doctors said she may have permanent brain damage.
