(Farmington) A man from Ironton, facing a felony rape charge after allegedly having unconsenting sexual intercourse with a teenager who was passed out at a lake development, had his jury trial rescheduled again.

60-year-old Cecil Burrow will now go to trial May 10th through the 12th of 2021 in St. Francois County.

Court documents say Burrow found a 19-year old female passed out from intoxication where he allegedly sexually assaulted her in a trailer at Lake Hanna on July 14th of 2018.

A detective with the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department interviewed the teenager and she said she woke up with her bikini bottom off and she immediately felt pain.

Burrow said in an interview that he did have consensual sex with the female but says she was confused and intoxicated prior to the sex.

Burrow’s last chance to cut a plea deal will be April 23rd of next year.
