Trooper Says Highway Conditons are Very Slick

(Farmington) Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol have had a busy day and night, working accidents due to slick road conditions.

Corporal Juston Wheetley says state highways are especially slippery in Crawford, Franklin, Jefferson, St. Louis and Washington counties.

We asked Corporal Wheetley about highway conditions in Iron and St. Francois along with other counties to the south.

Wheetley had to cut his interview short as he discovered another slide-off crash.

No winter weather is expected for the rest of the week.
