(East Central/Southeast Missouri) The Missouri State Highway Patrol has been kept quite busy over the past 48 hours and with more accumulating snow on the way on Wednesday, troopers are expected to remain busy.

According to Corporal Juston Wheetley with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, nearly 100 crashes occurred in Troop C between midnight on Monday and 8am Tuesday.

However, there were only 2 injury crashes reported with no fatal accidents.

And with more snow on the way Corporal Wheetley had this to add.

Altogether, troopers responded to more than 350 calls for service in Troop C between Monday and Tuesday mornings’.
