Troopers Stepping Up Patrols through the Holiday Season

(Jefferson County) With Christmas less than three weeks away, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is getting ready for one of its busiest times of year.

Corporal Dallas Thompson with the patrol says they will be conducting operation C.A.R.E. through the holidays.

Corporal Thompson adds they will also have a heavy presence of troopers on New Years eve.

Christmas is coming up on Wednesday, December 25th.
