Hillsboro dominated a good Farmington volleyball team tonight as the Hawks won 25-9, 25-17 and 25-13 in straight sets to improve to 4-2. Head coach Erin Boss says she couldn’t find one thing her team didn’t do well tonight.

ARCADIA VALLEY 3-1 (25-18, 25-12, 20-25, 26-24)
Arcadia Valley won their season opener tonight against Potosi 3-1. Head coach Tara Lamb says with senior night and the first day of school being day that made the nerves a little stronger.

Jefferson got their first win of the season tonight over Kingston 25-12 and 25-14 in straight sets. Head coach Tara Fish says their focus on serving in practice finally paid off.
SOUTH IRON 3-1 (25-22, 25-19, 17-25, 25-19)
West County
South Iron moved to 4-0 on the season with a good win over West County tonight 3-1. South Iron battled and won sets one and two, but head coach Adriann D’Amico says her team may have gotten a little too confident in their set three loss.
STE. GENEVIEVE 2-0 (25-18, 25-15)
Herculaneum
Ste. Genevieve kept their perfect season rolling tonight as they downed Herculaneum 25-18 and 25-15 in straight sets. Head coach Carla Basler says the team chemistry and communication continues to be great.
ST. PAUL 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-14)
Greenville
St. Paul improved to 2-1 with the straight set victory over Greenville tonight and head coach Stacy Hensley says it was an all around clean match from her squad.
LESTERVILLE 3-0 (25-23, 25-12, 25-8)
Ellington
Lesterville kept their hot start to the season rolling tonight beating Ellington 25-23, 25-12 and 25-8 in straght sets. Head coach Betsy Middleton says it took a couple of changes after the first set to settle in.

The Farmington girls tennis squad improved to 2-0 tonight as they put away Jackson 7-2. Head coach Andrew Canter says a winner in a tie-breaker got the momentum on their side for the night.
POTOSI 5
Arcadia Valley 4
The Potosi girls tennis team was finally able to play their first match of the season thanks to some cooperating weather and got a close win over Arcadia Valley 5-4. Head coach Danny Mueller says a freshman stepped up in a big spot for the Trojans.
