Twin Cities looking to improve aging infrastructure

(Festus, Crystal City) The cities of Festus and Crystal City are taking a closer look at their current infrastructure problems. Water and sewer lines, as well as stormwater problems, have been an ongoing issue in certain areas of both cities. Crystal City City Administrator Jason Eisenbeis says been a problem due to its age.

Eisenbeis says there is now funding help from the federal government.

Now that things are moving forward with the Great Streets program of East-West Gateway, there could be some big plans coming in the next few years to replace certain areas across both Festus and Crystal City.
