Twin Cities Police Chiefs Discuss Halloween Safety Tips

(Festus/Crystal City) Halloween is this upcoming Sunday and law enforcement among other first responding agencies want everyone to have a safe and fun experience whether that be trick or treating or partaking in any spooky parties.

Festus Police Chief Tim Lewis says motorists need to be mindful of trick or treaters when travelling through town.

Crystal City Police Chief Chad Helms echoes that message.

Trick or treating in both Festus and Crystal City is allowed between 6-9pm on Halloween.

Other municipalities in Jefferson County have their own set times in which trick or treating is allowed. Please refer to your local city for more information.
