Twin City Firecracker Festival brings in several thousand visitors

(Festus, Crystal City) Despite the somewhat hot and humid weather on Saturday, the Twin City Firecracker Festival was well attended. Festus Director of Tourism and Recreation, Barb Lowry, says Saturday morning was great with the numbers that came out to fish.
Lowry says the crowd for the Saturday night Chris Cagle concert was huge.
In the past, attendance for the Twin City Firecracker Festival was usually between 10 to 12 thousand people.
The next Festus City event will be the first Movies Under the Stars showing on Saturday, July 15th….as they will be showing the Disney film, Encanto.
