Two Cadet Residents Injured Thursday In Accident

(Cadet) Two people from Cadet were seriously injured late Thursday afternoon in a traffic accident on Highway 47 in St. Francois County.

The highway patrol says a Dodge Charger driven by 22 year old Devyn Horton of Cadet was driving east when his vehicle traveled into the westbound lanes and hit a truck driven by Adam Parmeley of Cadet head on.

Both Horton and a passenger in his vehicle, 46 year old Michelle Speidel were seriously injured and flown to St. Louis hospitals for treatment.
