Two Cedar Hill Firefighters Injured in One Vehicle Crash Saturday evening

(Jefferson County) Two firefighters with the Cedar Hill Fire Protection District were injured in a one vehicle accident while responding to a call for service on Saturday evening.

Cedar Hill fire Chief Mick Fischer has more details.

Inside the fire truck at the time of the crash was engineer, 22-year-old Kalin Graff of Fenton and one other firefighter.

According to Chief Fischer the 2005 Pierce Sabre pumper truck is a total loss. He says they are currently working with their insurance to get started on adding a replacement pumper to the stations fleet.

The accident happened on Route Y south of Tierney Farms Lane.
