Two Children Injured in Ellington Main Street Crash

(Ellington) Two children from Ellington were injured this morning in a one vehicle accident in the heart of Ellington.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Main Street when a Nissan Pathfinder driven by 24-year-old Emma Griffith of Ellington ran off the road and struck the end of the bridge in town.

Griffith was not injured but her two passengers were.

A 12-year-old boy received moderate injuries and a 4-year-old girl received minor injuries.

Both were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
