Two Farmington Residents Injured in St. Francois County Crash

(Farmington) Two people from Farmington were injured this morning in a one vehicle accident in St. Francois County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 221, a quarter mile west of St. Francois Hills Drive when a Chevy Tahoe driven by 30-year-old Brandon Pate began sliding on ice and ran off the edge of the road, striking an embankment and then overturned.

Pate received minor injuries but his passenger, 34-year-old Kathrine Minks was moderately injured.

Both were taken to Parkland Health Center South in Farmington.
