Two Guns Reported Stolen from De Soto Police Vehicle Recovered

(De Soto) Two reported stolen guns from a De Soto Police vehicle have since been recovered and police are searching for three individuals.
A rifle and shotgun were stolen from the squad car sometime during the overnight hours of January 23rd into January 24th while the vehicle was parked on a city street outside the officer’s home.
The suspects apparently broke glass on the patrol vehicle to get inside to take the weapons.
According to authorities, the rifle was later recovered on January 26th and the shotgun on January 27th.
Police are still looking for the three suspects which include an 18-year-old man from Hematite, a 21-year-old man from De Soto and a 20-year-old man from St. Louis.
