Two Injured in Iron County Crash

(VIBURNUM) Two people were injured in a two vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Iron County. The Highway Patrol says the crash happened on ‘Y’ Highway, a mile outside of Viburnum when a Chevy Silverado driven by a 16-year-old from Belleview crossed the centerline and struck a GMC Acadia head-on driven by 61-year-old Gregory Walls of Steelville. Walls had moderate injuries and was taken to Salem Memorial Hospital. The teenager had minor injuries and he was taken to Iron County Medical Center in Pilot Knob.
