Two Injured In Ste. Genevieve County Accident

Two Ste. Genevieve residents were injured in a four-vehicle car accident Wednesday afternoon in Ste. Genevieve County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Highway 61 south of Village Drive. A Subaru Outback being driven by 32-year-old St. Louis resident Aswin Kansakar rear-ended a Toyota Highlander being driven by 63-year-old Ste. Genevieve resident Anthony Grass, causing a chain reaction in which Grass’ car rear-ended a Ford Escape and the Escape in turn rear-ended a Chevrolet Malibu. Grass and his passenger, 62-year-old Mary Grass of Ste. Genevieve, received moderate injuries and were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital-St. Louis. The Outback was the only car totaled, and none of the other three people involved in the accident were injured.
