Two Injured in Washington County Motorcycle Crash

(Potosi) Two people were injured Wednesday night in a motorcycle accident in Washington County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place at 17757 Highway ‘F’ when a deer entered the roadway.

A 2005 Suzuki driven by 33-year-old Mark Matthews of Potosi struck the deer, throwing Matthews and his passenger, 31-year-old Tammy Drennen of Mineral Point from the motorcycle.

Both were moderately injured and they were taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County.
