Two juveniles arrested after causing July 4th damage to a building in the Northwest Sports Complex

(Hillsboro) Two juveniles are in the custody of the Jefferson County Juvenile Division for allegedly damaging property at the Northwest Sports Complex in High Ridge. On the evening of July 4th, an explosion damaged a building where two restrooms, a concession stand, and a utility room were housed at the park. Parts of the building have been taken down as it is considered a safety hazard and must be removed completely. The damage was the result of fireworks or other types of explosives

After an investigation by detectives with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, they determined people of interest in the case. The names will not be released as both are juveniles.
