Two People Injured in a Two Vehicle Accident Friday Evening in Jefferson County

(Jefferson County) Two people were injured in a two vehicle accident in Jefferson County on Friday evening.

According to the Missouri State highway Patrol, a 2010 Pontiac G6 being driven by 66-year-old Christine Sproull was driving west on Route A when she attempted to make a left turn onto Plass Road, failing to yield to a 2019 Buick Encore being driven by 48-year-old Tina Boyer of Festus.

The front of Boyer’s vehicle struck the right side of Sproull’s car.

Both Boyer and Sproull received moderate injuries and were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for treatment.
